Oluwakemi Christie Ogidan, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer, working as an academic, researcher and administrator in the Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medicine of the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria.

She enrolled at the school of Nursing, Ado-Ekiti in year 2001 and became a Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria in the year 2004. She obtained a Bachelor of Nursing Science (Honors) in the Second-Class Upper division in 2010 at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. While studying for her first degree, she wrote professional examinations and became Registered Midwife and Registered Public Health Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria in the Year 2009 and 2010 respectively.

Oluwakemi had Master of Science (Nursing) in the year 2015 and Doctor of Philosophy degree in the Year 2021 with a focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health aspect of Community Health Nursing from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She is a good teacher having gone through the postgraduate diploma in education training and graduate with a distinction grade at the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti in the year 2017. She equally registered with the Nursing and midwifery council of Nigeria as a Nurse Educator.
