Matthew Idowu OLATUBI is an Assistant Professor in the Public/Community Health Nursing Programme of the Faculty of Nursing Science, Bowen University, Iwo Osun State. He holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science, Master of Science, and PhD in Nursing all from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. He is the national trainer for Standardized Nursing Languages and Essential pain Management. Matthew is a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife, and Public Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. In addition, he holds a Higher National Diploma in Public Health Nursing from the West African Health Examination Board. He is a member of Sigma Theta Thau International, the Honour Society of Nursing, and the Association for the Study of Standardized Nursing Languages in Nigeria.  He is a Fellow, of the Nigeria Institute of Medical Research Foundation’s Grantsmanship and Mentoring Training Programme (2022 Cohort)

His research interest is in the areas of Occupational Health, Public Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health, and Standardized Nursing Languages. Matthew is passionate about contributing to knowledge in the area of occupational health and safety. His career goal is to see to health of workers in their workplace and to make the work environment safe for all.
