Dr. Ibuchukwu Orabueze-Okonkwo is a Clinical Microbiologist at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital and Lecturer at the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria. Her research focuses on viral infections, neglected tropical diseases, and antimicrobial resistance. As Nigeria’s National Representative to the Trainee Association of ESCMID and an ESCMID Local Champion, she promotes global collaboration, capacity building, and mentorship for healthcare professionals in low- and middle-income countries. She is passionate about advancing excellence in clinical microbiology and infectious disease care and inspiring the next generation of specialists.
