Clinician-Scientist with over ten years of progressive experience in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Vaccinology, and Global Public Health. His research focuses on the clinical epidemiology of emerging infectious diseases (such as SARS-CoV-2, Lassa fever, mpox, and dengue), HIV Medicine, Antimicrobial Resistance, and Systemic Infections. He currently serves as the facility coordinator of the US-CDC funded HIV/AIDS Program that caters to over 5000 active clients, the largest in South South Nigeria. He has published over 28 peer-reviewed manuscripts in reputable international and local journals. He is an editorial board member of international journals such as Open Forum Infectious Diseases, Therapeutic Advances in Infectious Diseases, Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine etc. He is an undergraduate medical educator and examiner and has presented scientific abstracts at national conferences.
He is a member of several professional societies including International Society for Infectious Diseases, Infectious Diseases Society of America, and International AIDS society.
