Dr Ngozi R. Dim is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Nigeria and a Consultant Radiologist at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu. For the past 8years, she has impacted medical students and Radiology residents as a teacher and mentor. As a board-certified Radiologist, her bias is in Women, Paediatric and Oncology Imaging, including image-guided interventional radiology procedures. She has several publications and both local and international conference presentations. Outside clinical and academic work, she is an ardent advocate against the late presentation of non-communicable diseases, especially breast, cervical and prostate cancers and a healthy lifestyle consultant and health educator.
She had an MBBS degree from the University of Nigeria in 2003 and a master’s degree in public health, in 2009. She obtained a fellowship from the West African College of Surgeons in 2014. In 2021 she was selected as one of the 12 scholars for the first Nigerian Cancer Research and Training (NCAT) programme by the African Research Group for Oncology (ARGO). In 2022 she obtained a Harvard University graduate certificate in Clinical Research (PPCR) and won the Clinical Research Scholar Award. She is one of the 2023 NIMR Grantsmanship and Mentorship Training Programme cohorts.
