Dr Victor Ayodeji Ayeni is currently a Lecturer I and Consultant Paediatrician (Neonatologist) at the Benjamin Carson (Snr.) College of Health & Medical Sciences of Babcock University and Babcock University Teaching Hospital. He holds a master’s degree in Neonatology from the University of Southampton and is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (Faculty of Paediatrics).

Dr Ayeni is a certified Neonatal Resuscitation Simulator/Instructor and Biomedical Investigator whose research work is mainly in neonatology. He is a member of the editorial board of Babcock University Medical Journal and also on the Research Committee of Babcock University Teaching Hospital. Victor is enthusiastic about advancing top-notch, evidence-based, family-centred care for neonates and children, as well as shaping generations of upright, well-mannered, well-motivated, and world-class graduates and specialists in medicine. He can play a few musical instruments and is keen on reaching out to people through music and teaching.
