Dr. Kamaldeen Olalekan Sanusi is a lecturer at Al-Hikmah University. His academic and research interests lie at the intersection of physiology, nutrition, and metabolic disorders. His research examines how nutritional environments influence metabolic health across generations, investigating mechanistic pathways using both invertebrate and vertebrate models.
He has presented his work nationally and internationally and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. He is also engaged in research capacity development and mentorship, with a commitment to strengthening biomedical research ecosystems in Africa.
