I am a Public Health Physician with a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology and Research Methods from Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH). During my training at BUSPH, I contributed to a multi-centre randomized study evaluating the effectiveness of tobacco treatment advocates on smoking cessation among public housing residents in Boston.

On completion of my studies, I joined the Medical Practice Evaluation Center of Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) as a research assistant where I played a key role on outcomes analyses addressing aspects of HIV care utilization in Nigeria. Currently, I serve as a Senior Registrar at the Department of Community Health, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where I am involved in administrative, clinical and research activities.

Through collaborative partnerships, I am engaged in multiple projects including WHO/NCDC surveillance activities on intussusception and ROTA virus, assessing health security capacities at state (sub-national) level, and providing mentorship to disease surveillance and notification officers (DSNOs).

My research interests focus on the role of metabolic and behavioural risk factors in the development of NCDs among university students and anti-retroviral medication adherence and associated health risk behaviours among HIV positive youth in Lagos, Nigeria.
